Astral Plane Studios is a newly established sound production service orgininally based in Central Texas, currently being relocated to Sacramento, CA dedicated to professional audio production. Created by producer/mix engineer Josh Hayward, his musical ear will help you achieve the goals of your audio needs. From pre production to post production, he will make sure you get the highest possible sonic and musical quality from your endeavors.

Astral Plane Studios currently offers the following sound production services:

What sets Astral Plane Studios apart from other music mixing services? Clientele satisfaction comes first. Any musical project is a team effort that must be understood by all members of that team. The following should be considered before ever entering a production:

  1. What are you looking for in your music mixes? (rough or radio ready? Clean and transparent or dirty?)
  2. Demo (EP) or Album? (LP) (Where are you at with your musical career?)
  3. What direction are you headed? (Fun and Vanity or Major/indy label pitches?)
  4. Budget (How much do I realistically need for my goals?)

These questions need to be asked and answered before decisions are made.

Focus on the project at hand is an important factor in determining what will come of it, along with the mix engineer and producer that you choose. Every factor must be taken into consideration before starting your venture into a recording studio.
